Privacy Policy
Cardle ("we") is a game where you photograph real cars and collect them as cards. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and the choices you have. Cardle is operated by Çağrı Uzun, Turkey (the data controller). Contact: support@cardle.cc.
What we collect and why
Account
When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive an account identifier and, if you share it, your email address. You choose a username. We use these to keep your collection, friends and rankings across devices.
Car photos
When you hunt, the photo you take is sent to our servers and to Google's Gemini AI to recognize the car's make, model and color. We keep the original photo privately for up to 30 days to detect cheating (for example photos of screens), then delete it. Photos are never shown to other players. Card illustrations are drawn by AI from the car model and color only, never from your photo. Please don't photograph people; we ignore license plates and never store plate numbers.
Location
While you use the app, your location is used to check you are not driving, to show nearby hotspots, and to record where a card was caught (country, city or district, and coordinates in your private hunt history). When you catch a rare car, other players may see an approximate zone on the map (shifted by up to about 150 m, without your name) for 24 hours.
Motion
Motion data is processed on your device only, to pause hunting while you are in a moving vehicle.
Public profile
Your username, country, city, level, ranking score and showroom cards are visible to other players in rankings, search and showrooms. Friend requests and trade offers are visible to the players involved.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive the purchase status (not your payment details) through Apple and RevenueCat to unlock Cardle Pro.
Analytics, crash reports and advertising
We use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config to understand how the game is used and to fix crashes. To measure our ad campaigns we use AppsFlyer, Meta and TikTok SDKs. Free players see ads served by Google AdMob, which may use your approximate location (from your IP address) and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is only accessed if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt; you can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking. Without that permission, AdMob shows non-personalized ads.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token together with your language, country and time zone to send friend requests, trade offers, event announcements, reminders and news. You can turn each kind off in Profile → Settings → Notifications, or all of them in iOS Settings.
Service providers
Google (Firebase: authentication, database, storage, servers in the EU, Belgium; Gemini AI; analytics; crash reports; App Check), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases), RevenueCat (subscription status), Google AdMob (ads), AppsFlyer, Meta and TikTok (ad measurement). Some providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their standard data-protection safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep data
Car photos: up to 30 days. Account, collection and game history: while your account exists. When you delete your account we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices and rights
You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account) or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU or KVKK in Turkey) you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Contact us at support@cardle.cc.
Children
Cardle is not intended for children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We will post updates to this page and change the date above. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app.
